How can I save money and energy?
I have a roomate that leaves the lights, tv, and anything you can think of on. we have talked about it and she said she will try but I have caught her several times falling asleep with the lights on. What can i do about this problem?

- Every time she fails to turn something off have her put a $1 into the electricity bill fund to pay for it. Of course you should do the same if she catches you leaving something on.

You must have This is a positive thimking try using CFL bulbs buy electric products of good quality put off electrical appliances when not needed putt off your AC when not needed Try to go to office by bus . . . I think you know all this but only what you have to do is...... DO it Just Do It.......

- If she has a habit of leaving lights on, switch to low watt bulbs as well as more energy efficient bulbs so if any energy is being wasted, at least it's not as much. As far as the TV goes, turn off the power strip it runs on anytime it's not being used to avoid phantom energy issues. And if she keeps it up, just take the TV power chord for a day or two while you're out of town. lol I kid, I kid! No, really, does she pay part of the electric bill? If so, not much can be said, but if she does NOT, might be time for her to start helping out with that. Aside from that, because you simply can't control her actions, the best you can do is make them have as little energy and economic impact as possible.
