- don't buy stuff
- For a preteen that cannot work, it's impossible to get money. So I take it that walking/bathing/sitting animals, mowing yards, cleaning houses are considered work and you can't do that? When you get money, call a bank and figure out how to get yourself savings bonds. The minimum is $25, but after so many years, it gains interest. Some people think it's not worth it. BUT- I buy my daughter those everytime she gets money, and by the time she goes to college (she's 5 now), she'll have several thousand dollars.
- Ask your mom to put it in a bank account for you. ;)

- well, you can babysit to earn money, but saving is what you want. You could ask your parent/guardian to open a savings account for you and you can put it in there or you could try self-control and just take a certain amount with you where ever you go so you aren't tempted to spend more than you have. Hope this helps
- buy a money box that you can't open. you will feel guilty about opening it before its full so you won't open it.
