Can someone collect early retirement benefits from social security and unemployment at the same time?

- Only if you are actively looking for work. Your unemployment will be reduced by the amount of your SS benefits, however. If your SS benefit is more than your unemployment then you'll receive nothing. Also, if you retired voluntarily then you're not eligible for unemployment in most cases.
