Have you ever considered retiring or relocating to Mexico?

My wife and I have recently attended a relocation and real estate seminar in Puerto Vallarta. The event was great and the people were very informative. We are seriously considering a move to Mexico but were curious to see how many others are out there. We found the seminar through www.latinamericanhomeinvestment.com which seems to be a pretty good site with a lot of information. I suppose we are looking to hear from others who are seriously looking as well. We see a lot of potential and an improved pace of life in Mexico. Still, it is a big change. How many Americans and Canadians are actually moving down there or at least thinking about it?

1. I have not considered it. What about medical facilities--many people need a lot of medical care as they get older.....would you have to come back to the US if you become ill?

3. My husband and I have been seriously considering it, but need to do more research on the schools and the medical facilities. We were thinking about home school, but are undecided at this point. We absolutely LOVE it their, and are always disappointed when we have to come home. My preference would be on the Carribean coast, though.
