- Don't they eat Greyhounds in Mexico? Oh. No. That's Chihuahuas. Little pork roasts with bulging eyeballs. But they may still eat the greyhounds.
- there is a dog track in scula vista california, it is about 70 miles from the border and you can get in contact with an adoption agence there
- im not sure about mexico...but i know there are a lot of rescues in the bordering states. try adopt-a-greyhound.org it has a list of all the adoption agencies in the states. Thank you for wanting to adopt a greyhound! they are very cool dogs.
- First of all - Bambi B if you dont have anything helpful to say maybe you shouldnt use this forum for stupid comments, The greyhound is a breed of truly wonderful dogs that are killed by the thousands every year once their "usefulness" to man is over. Its not a subject to be callous about, they are sometimes euthanized at a young age, sometimes in the cheapest, most brutal ways. To the writer of the question, GOOD FOR YOU for considering adopting a racetrack greyhound. If you enter "Greyhound rescue San Diego or California" Several listings will show up. These organizations spay/neuter and treat any medical conditions that the dogs may have and sometimes do some basic training before placing the dogs. They can also tell you about the dog's personality sometimes and any quirks if the dog's been fostered first. Good Luck!! And congrats again for choosing to rescue!
- Mexico IS FULL of dog tracks & they kill the dogs when there done with them. Why don't you go get one from a mexican track?!?!?
