How can I get more people to move to Deming New Mexico?

I am a realtor and Deming is becoming the new "Hot Spot" to move and retire in. I would like to know how to get the word out to the rest of the states besides New Mexico that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

  1. Offer them $1000,000 and you will get a huge response
  2. Maybe try postings on craigslist.com It has sites for many cities. It's all free as far as I know so if it doesn't help, no money lost.
  3. Advertise online.
  4. Need to SELL (possibly IN 7 DAYS) YOUR HOME ? Required Info- Homeowners name, property address (including City, State, and Zip), phone # to be reached at, months & money behind if any. Email info to - helpsellhome@yahyoo.com
  5. I...think you have to make that a little more believable. What does it offer besides cheap land and other retirees? I've been there, and I'm just not buying that any NM small town is really going to look like a "hot spot" to a lot of people. No offence. You're talking about a place that's too small for even Wikipedia to bother with, and which is revealed as "sleepy" on the first page of a Google search...
  6. Play up the two vineyards! St. Clair's has excellent wine and you can buy it by the gallon at a very, very reasonable price plus, when you buy it in bulk, it doesn't have all the chemicals that they usually put in it when it's bottled and shipped so it doesn't cause headaches. I have to say the St. Clair port is the best port that I've ever drank. There are beautiful recreational areas nearby: City of Rocks, the forests up near Silver City. Though, I hate to break it to you, but the town is kind of dumpy looking.
