Annex the States of Mexico to the US?

There is apparently a tide of migration from Mexico to the US. If people are leaving their homes to find a better life, wouldn't it be better to provide that better life, economic oportunities and better govenment to those people in their own homeland? Mexico is a beautiful country with an abundance of natural resources, and it would provide beautiful ocean-front property for retired Americans. Are there any good reasons not to annex it to the US for the benefit of all?

2. Maybe you should "annex" the rest of America, Central America, South America....Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia... Everywhere there is abundance of natural resources, oil, food, cheap labor, also, more beautiful ocean-front places for all retarded Americans...and of course, for the benefit of all...how altruistic was that.... 3. Dear Susan, I am mexican, I live in Mexico, I do not want to live in the USA, I don't want to be a USA citizen. More than 2 million USA citizens live in Mexico. My wife is one ot them. But you need to stop thinking you simply can go to "free" a nation, where you are not invited. If you have illegal immigrants, then take action according to your laws. Look Susan, México is the third trade partner of the USA. Every day the trade between both countries involves 800 million dollars. México and USA yearle move more than 300 billions dollars. The superavit is to México , for more than 75,000 million dollars, Mexico exports are 2.5 times the exports of Germany and 5 times the exports of France. So, no lady, no, you havent a poor nation just behind your border. Why mexican (and centralamerican) people migrates to the USA, It is very complex, but I can assure you that we have jobs for them here, last year there were almost a new million jobs, permanent jobs, this year, and because of your crisis, we only will have 600,000 new jobs. But we are growing. Susan if our government continues this way, we will be a first world country in 20 years. On the other side, if any foreign army attacks my country, I will be ready to join my army and defend my country, even with my life. So, stay home. You know, we are not Irak, we have the second largest army in latinamerica, and 25 million men can be called to service if necesary, your army is many times bigger than ours, but, you can be sure that we are going to die for our country, and dislike Irak, we can be able to be in your cities, your neighborhoods, your land. Thanks for trying to release my country from poverty, but no, we can do it alone.
