What are the best investments in the Philippines?

As a FIL-am, I plan on retiring in the Philippines, and want to know what are some good businesses to start. I know that a internet cafe, jeepneys, restaurants, and sari-saris are the most popular ones. What are the other options? thanks

2. If you will be using what you earned/ save for retirement alone. I wouldn't advice you to go into business. Go for mutual fund, it is stable and gives better interest than ordinary savings account. If you have money to spare, food is the best. But if you do not have the knowledge and just have passion you will lose money. Start something what you like and enjoy. Low capital and easy to maintain. Plan. Study the market. And Pray.
3. Maybe a combination of the 4 you mentioned including buying cheap apartments and renting. Overseas recruitment agency. Export and Import trade middle man. *****Chinaman above is giving very good advice

5. if you want to make a small fortune there , you must start with a LARGE one
