What would be the best business to put up in Dagupan City, Philippines?

My boyfriend is set to retire sometime next year. He wants to go home to his hometown where he grew up. Aside from his retirement income from the US he would like to have some additional source of income (he has been a nurse here in the US) and something to also keep him busy. Any suggestions?

4. It depends on the location.. I suggest that you try a computer cafe near school areas or such public places, i guarantee that you wont regret. Start with 10 units and if the business looks great take advantage with it & add some more. Well this is just a suggestion but there's still a lot of business you could start up like drugstore, convenient store, fast food chain , etc. So good luck.
5. if you have a trading business skills... bangus dealer would be easy in your area..better yet if you can develop new bangus base products to sell ( bangus spread maybe? ) in metro manila or other provinces. You can also try to get the demographic of your area from your local goverment or simply asking around and ocular inspection of the area you want to put your business. Have a feel of what is needed in your area...and match it with the skills and resources that you have. You can also try rural banks for funding. There is a Gulf Bank in your area. But if you dont want to reinvent the wheel...the usual internet cafe, small eateries, parlors..etc... hope it helps..goodluck
