Are these good fidelity mutual funds?
I have a roth ira through fidelity. I work for Wells Fargo so they don't charge me a lot of the fees you may normally have if you go through someone for a roth. I don't know that much about it but I set it up because I know a Roth is a great way to invest for retirement. However, the funds that I was set up with are EPGAX FDVAX FEIAX FSCDX FSOAX --can someone tell me if these are good funds compared to moving it over to Vanguard or something other then these? I don't know much about it (which probably isn't the best thing) but I am 24 and don't want to make big mistakes young and then regret it later. I don't trade or anything, they do all of that for me, and I prefer it that way...any help is appreciated

- Those fidelity advisor and small cap funds don't perform as well. Check into MIDSX and FSAGX if you're looking to make serious money.
- For "one fund that covers the world's markets, well diversified, buy and forget" type fund, look into Fidelity Freedom Fund 2050 or Vanguard Target Retirement 2050 fund or T. Rowe Price Target Retirement 2050 fund. This way you don't have to worry about several of your funds going bad, changing managers etc.
- Your funds are not bad, tho probably not my 1st choices at Fidelity. Question: why the advisor series of funds?? They tend to be higher expense. My choices at Fidelity FDEQX - Disciplined Equity (large caps) FLVCX - Leveraged Company (mid caps) FCPVX - Small Cap Value FIGRX - International Discovery FBIDX - U.S. Bond Index Fidelity is an excellent fund family. Other good choices in the mutual fund families, would be Vanguard and TRowe Price.
