Why is brett favre being so immature and pouty when hes the one who made the decision to retire? Is he that arrogant that he thinks everyone in the world including the packers should just wait around for him and ask him every week if hes gonna play again? I think the crying little boy has some growing up to do, dont you think? Or do you think everyone should bow down to him also?

  1. That sometimes happens to those that catch "The Itch".
  2. I definately see your point but I think his argument is that he didn't solely make the decision. He believes he was persuaded and pushed to retire. He says he was pressured. I agree that he flip-flops and leaves the Packers hanging. Honestly, I understand that the NFL is a business and I don't doubt that the Packers saw Brett's tentativeness and told Brett what their intentions were (to move on) and urged Brett to hang it up if he was unsure. I don't think there is a bow to give or anything. I think it like this. It's a business. The Packers should just trade him. I know they probably don't want to do that, but they should cut ties now. If they don't, they bully Brett into a corner and he's unable to play for any team except backup for Rodgers. That will cost them 12 mil (if they really mean it). If they do, they can move on and call Brett's bluff. It's dumb (if this is the case) that the Packers are so selfish that they don't want any other team to have him. Chances are Brett won't be that good next season. (MADDEN CURSE...LOL) Who knows? A trade saves them money and they might get a good deal! Think if you were an athlete in his position and you change your mind, which you are allowed. Would you want a team to decide the rest of your career?
  3. He's not, he wants to play somewhere else. The Packers were pushing him out before he was ready, and he felt pressure from the fans to retire a Packer.
  4. Well let's see, what is this the 4th year in a row where ESPN aka the Brett Favruh Network has seen the need to devote substantial time chasing this whiny old fart around to see if he was gonna come on out and fling another 30 or so interceptions into triple coverage?
  5. Because he and Roger Clemens are the 2 biggest attention whores in the history of sports. Every offseason they play this "please beg me to come back" crap and people kept giving them their wishes....until this year thankfully. With or without Favre the Packers are irrelevant and have no chance in hell to ever win the Super Bowl. Can they make it out of the pathetic and lowly NFC? Maybe since Dallas is about the only decent team in the entire conference. But there are at least 4-5 teams in the AFC that would rape them if they were to make the Super Bowl. The Colts, Patriots, Chargers, Steelers, Jaguars, and maybe a few other teams would completely embarrass the Packers so if they can't win a Super Bowl with him, why not move on and start fresh with Rodgers, who is their future signalcaller? Favre sadly is just another former superstar who is past his prime and can't let go of his glory days, much like many other past sports greats who didn't get out soon enough. I hope he does come back and they trade him to some crap team like Tampa Bay or Baltimore who needs a QB so we can all see how mediocre he does and how his presence won't make a difference wherever he goes since any team who signs him won't compete with the big boys of the NFL (see those teams I mentioned in paragraph 1). Get lost Brett and quit begging for attention. Go hang out with Clemens, jam a few needles in your rear end, and talk about how great you USED to be.
  6. Man, is he being annoying as hell or what?! He needs to realize he is a horrible QB w/ good receivers. His decision making is PATHETIC and he can't move outside the pocket. He's not a God! Aaron Rodgers has way more potential than Favre's crippled ass. I hate when good, legendary, players retire and then come back and throw fits. One piece of advice, DON'T RETIRE! I hope they keep him and bench him, kind of like sitting a whining kid in the corner.
  7. I don't think Brett is pouty or immature, I think he has a problem making decisions off the football field. I am a Packer season ticket holder and have been for years and my biggest fear has always been that Brett would find himself in an opposing teams locker room, he would be sitting on the "john", the stall has two rolls of toilet paper and he misses the second half of the game.
  8. I don't like Favre but i reason with why he wants to come back. I assume that when you live and breathe something for the majority of your life, when it is suddenly not there it must feel like a part of you is missing. I agree with you that he should have been more professional on the matter.
  9. The packers made him answer so quickly so he couldn't even sit down and think about it, and yes we should bow down to him he's only the best quarter back ever.
  10. Dont blaim ethis on the Packers, Favre is a big boy, he can make choices on his own, his loss, quit talking crap about the Packers because you didnt get what you wanted...move on, go to another team, and you should be ashamed of yourself. And yes, I am a HUGE Packer fan and Brett fan, but after this, not so much a Brett fan. Wipe your tears and quit whinning and move on!
  11. He wants attention because training camp is about to start soon
