How can i stay motivated to save money?
I want to buy a laptop, but a good one will cost about $1000. im a heavy spender and the most i have ever saved was $300. Any good tips on how to hold myself back from spending the money? im a teenager i have about $50 i dont really have to spend. because i have tons of clothes and stuff! i get about $200 on my birthday and $300 at christmas. I want to buy the laptop right after boxing day, so it will be cheaper... my guestimate, is i will have about $650 (maybe less, maybe more) and that should let me buy a good laptop at sale price, but how can i keep myself from spending it?

- I assume it is cash you are receiving. Just take that money and set it aside. Put it in a box or something with a picture of the laptop you want. No one can motivate you to save money, especially if it is just to spend it on something else.
