How can my family save money this summer?
I saw on the Today show, families who cut their budget in half. It amazed me how easily it was done, and our family's budget is tight now so we could use some help. How can I save money? I am not like most people. We don't eat out all the time, I do my own nails at home, and I avoid starbucks. Basically, how can a family who already is watching their budget, save more money?

- I guess I missed that episode of the Today show. However I kind of know what you mean about already watching your budget and not knowing where to cut any more. One thing I suggest (and what I need to do, too) is look for groups that support frugal living. I was a member of such groups on iVillage and Yahoo groups before which is how I picked up some good frugal habits. They gave me a whole new set of "Joneses" to try to keep up with, but these families aren't trying to outdo each other with new cars or vacations but in getting the best deals and cutting costs.
