Is Brett Favre Going To Tampa Bay Or Retiring?

I hope to god he's going to Tampa Bay we need a quarterback so badly.

  1. nope jeff garcia is determine with being starter and tampa agrees
  2. Neither
  3. Farve is either going to Tampa or the Jets if he gets reinstated. If he doesn't I think he will retire.
  4. i wish he'd just make up his damn mind already, i'm tired of hearing about it EVERYDAY
  5. Actually Favre is not going to Tampa Bay. According to Tampa Bay.com, here are a couple of reasons why Favre is not likely to go to the Bucanners, "Favre has recently told sources close to him that Tampa Bay was 'too hot,' and that he prefers to play and practice in cooler weather. That sounds rather strange from a guy who grew up and spends his summers in Mississippi." "There also is another problem. The Bucs playbook under Jon Gruden may be unrecognizable to him." Now as far as Favre retiring, that right now is still unknown. Favre didn't show up to practice on Monday so apparently he is still torn about what he wants to do. Its apparent he wants to play, but I believe he wants the starting job more than just being a back up hence, Favre not showing up to practice. Here is the full article in regards to Favre chances of going to Tampa Bay. I know that its a bit old, but it still gives you the information needed. http://blogs.tampabay.com/bucs/2008/07/tampa-bay-may-n.html
  6. if they do send him to tampa i doubt he ll start cuz jeff will seriously push it to the next level
  7. Brett Farve can never make up his mind about retiring or not. He made everyone think that he was retiring with that dramatic press conference. I don't think he will be going to Tampa Bay though. If he was, he wouldn't be the starting quarterback. Jeff Garcia is around Farve's age and Garcia turned it up a notch last year. Either way, I don't think Tampa Bay will get him because it would also be a waste of cap space. If he wants to be a starter, he should go to the Bears (We really do need a quarterback), the Chiefs, the Vikings, or the Redskins.
  8. Didn't you here Bret Farve has been traded to the Young and the Restless, where he can put all that drama to good use.
  9. He is boring with his talk.
  10. He doesn't want to play in Tampa. This wasn't about him playing, it was about him playing where he wanted to play, which was Minnesota. He never had any intention of playing in Green Bay, Tampa Bay or New York.
  11. Brett has to OK any trade. He doesn't want to go to Tampa Bay. I don't think the reason is the playbook or the weather. I think he looks at that team and sees just how little weaponry he'd have around him. He's not retiring either. There's no way the Packers can have the Favre distraction around the whole season. It would undermine the team. So Brett's probably going to stick around until they give up and release him.
  12. he's going to The Arena Football or the CFL!
  13. Brett is going to play again. He is just waiting to get a release from the packers. I am not sure of what type of contract Brett has, but it seems he has to get the packers permission to play for another team. I would guess he is still under contract, meaning, that he has to wait for his current contract to expire. I have seen a few news stories about Brett, but none of the stories have said if he is under contract, but have only said, Brett needs permission from the packers to play for another team. The story also said that Brett wanted to play for the packers again, but the packers are set on going with Rodgers, their back-up to brett. Any team who wants to get Brett should have a good strong offence line with some above average receivers. If the team wants a good chance to win the super-bowl, or at least get there, that team will need a top notch ground game, which means that team will need a good running back. Go Packers Go! lol :)
  14. I don't think that the Bucs will get favre just because they already ahve Garcia who is about the same age and he took them to the play offs last year and then they will be obligated to pay farve some big money and they will only have him for one year Tampa should go out and find them a young qb start him in a couple of games and stop taking old qb's John Gruden or the coach of tampa is like that. He just like to have qb's for about a year or two and then trades or realeses them although they might favre just for attendence sales but most likely will not play for any team
  15. yes he is because he want to retire to the bay
  16. Don't know if we'll get him and truthfully Jeff GArcia was only second to David GArrard for least interceptions last season but, I am on the edge of my seat, Praying for Favre, I mean he's a legend and would be an awesome fit in Tampa. With Warrick Dunn and Brett Favre, I feel a SuperBowl coming on
