How much do you pay for health care insurance per month?

My company is about too drop my Blue Cross medical health care coverage. I am retired. I must now purchase health care if I can afford it. How much might I expect to pay for basic coverage on a monthly basis, or every three months?

  1. I used to have Blue Cross Blue Shield through my dad's work but when he died they took it away. Now I'm in college with no insurance. My mom is paying 550 (Humena I believe) a month for both herself and my little brother and she has almost no coverage. It really sucks.
  2. Around 400 month, company picks up a about 1 1/2 times that per person. If I get laid off, I am told the same insurance (family plan) will run me 1100 to 1400 month. As the company will no longer pay their side and I would have to pay admin charges. State employment commission says they must keep people on the plan if they pay. Yeah right like I could afford that. (this is for health, dental and eye)
  3. i dont have any insurance because its just too high
