How much money do you want to save up before retirement?

3. According to calculations in order to live in the same manner I do now when I retire. I need $2.5million. I am working on it and have agood plan. I have a 401k plan buying some real estate and also buying lottery tix!

6. I want to save at least $38.00 So far I have $2.00 saved. I won the powerball lottery a few weeks ago. I had three numbers out of five but that only was $28.00 in winnings. I spent all on the money on take out food.
7. Just enough to live as comfortably as I am now, plus a little extra to do some travelling. I figure $250-500,000 should do it. That would give, from the interest, about $25-50K/year. I should own my own house by then, so after living expenses, there should be enough to pursue my hobbies and take one good trip (or several smaller vacations) a year.
8. 10-50 million.
9. I dont plan on living that long (better to burn out then to fade away..yadda yadda yadda..). I plan to leave this earth owing millions.
