When a wrestler is about to a retire they seem to lose their last matches? For Example Ric Flair last match against Shawn Michaels Flair lost, Stone Cold vs The Rock Austin lost, The Rock & Sock Connection vs Evolution the rock & sock lost that match however wrestlers like Trish stratus won her last match as champion a good way to end her wrestling career what's your opinion about it?

- It would make more sense to win their final matches as it is their last victory but I guess they don't mind losing their last matches either.
- Because it's better to go out on your back than it is to win. When you win your last match it tends to make you want to come back to the business again and make a comeback, when you lose, it decreased that chance. Of course, tell that to Terry Funk who's had like 594949949499494 retirement matches.
- I hate to break it to you, but EVERY single part of "pro wrestling" is scripted. Every battle, every conflict, every win, every loss.
- bret hart wanted his to end like Trish's he said that h wanted to win in canada then the next night he would retire and give up the title but Vince got Shawn to win the match by applying the sharpshooter to hart making it worse it was harts finisher that match and Bret's forced retirement be came known as the Montreal screw job
- Trish won her retiring match but Lita didn't
- Ya,Ok.
