How many teens know how to save money or put it in the bank?

Today and yesterday, I have seen multiple teens on here saying that they don't know what to spend their Christmas money on. If you don't know want you want or what you need to spend it on, what is the logical thing to do with it? It appears like there is an ugency to spend this money, like it is going to burn a hole in their pocket.
