retirement oz

How much are retired Beanie Babies worth?

I have Chocolate the Moose and Goldie the Goldfish. I'm considering selling them if they are actually worth anything. How much are retired Beanie Babies in excellent condition worth? I wasn't sure where to put this... Yahoo wanted to put it in Business or Yahoo Products *sigh*... Yahoo needs to categorize better.

  1. Go on ebay and see how much they are running for. I can tell you, you probably aren't going to get very much. With the economy the way it is, I'm sure very many people aren't looking to buy themselves a beanie baby. I just checked and they are running for $5-$10 and most have 0 bids
  2. not much I'm afraid.. Beanie Babies Just aren't popular anymore...they might have it on their site http://www.ty.com/BeanieBabies_home
  3. Check out ebay prices for similar ones and see how much they are going for. although my mom told me that collectibles aren't selling as well as they had previously. I do however, that should give you a good guide. Or check out your local craigslist for idea of similar ones. The worth and what people will pay are two different things, that why I recommend checking the going rates. Good luck!
  4. Not much. I have three trashbags full of Beanies Babies that my mom and relatives bought me when I was younger. See how much they are worth or pass them down to your children and start using it as something you pass down the generations of your family.
  5. I don't think much. There is such a huge amount of them around that saturation makes them not worth much. I think collectibles are not going to be worth much anymore. As soon as something comes along people buy 50 of them hoping it will be worth something someday. I think older collectibles are worth more bc people never thought of them as valuable. Just as stuff. So they are rarer.
