What is the best way to ship boxes overseas?
I am in the process of relocating myself to Korea. I don't have any furniture or anything like that but I do have quite a lot of books and clothes. What's the best way to ship, say about 10 medium/large boxes overseas? I've been looking into moving companies but some are not even willing 2 arrange pickup because it's too small. Help please!

- Well you have several options, from UPS, Fedex or the Post Office (USPS). The Post Office is typically cheaper, however, there are extras that will cost you, such as tracking and insurance. I'm not sure how well FedEx works overseas. UPS gives you $100 in insurance included in the price of shipping the package. You will also get tracking so you can track online. You will pay more however through UPS. Now I've heard people complain that their Post Office boxes gets stopped at customs more, and for longer periods of times then UPS. But I've never had problems either way.
- Hi You can look for international moving companies that specialize in shipping personal belonging. Many of them do offer the option of LCL (less container load) shipments. However there are some things that you should be aware of. For more information please look at http://www.expats-moving-and-relocatioin-guide.com/international-moving-company.html Sharon
