  1. first of all you need to know if persimmons would grow in the Philippines climate and soil, and if so then you need to ask if persimmons trees are best grown from cuttings and not seeds (because I have never seen any persimmon seeds around). Now if there were in fact persimmon seeds that could grow and even though some plants are healthier later if grown from seeds, it might take that tree 5 years or even 10 years before it will bear fruit if started from seed. And then you need to ask if there is such a thing as a male and female tree so you know whether to send one of each of the cuttings so the flowers will be cross-polinated. Then you need to know the laws about sending plants overseas, sometimes it's against the law because parasites can be sent and that causes people in the Philippines problems. So you have a lot of asking to do (try asking at a tree nursery or with your county's extension service for information) before you send anything. You also need to know that some fruits and vegetables (not sure if persimmons are one of them) when they come into our country are given a spray or a kind of ray to kill the bacteria so if you take seeds from persimmons and try to grow them they might not grow. No, I've never seen persimmon "seeds" being sold anywhere, not even in the seed catalogs.
