1. It would be a lot better for the economy if you actually spent some money. Saving it will make things worse. Change the way you think about this present situation - it everyone thought like you then things are going to be really bad in a hurry.
2. Little things: Shower faster. Turn out lights. Unplug unused appliances and phone chargers. Buy things you need not want. Recycle. Create a monthly budget that includes all your expenses to see how much you really need to spend every month to survive.
3. Use coupons at the grocery store, they have online coupon sites now.
