Now that I longer have a desktop computer running 24/7, will I save money on electric bill every month?

I got a laptop recently and now I never use my desktop so I just turned it off. Prior to this, and like everyone else, I would just leave it on all the time. So, will I notice a huge difference in my electric bill?

  1. it depends on what you did with your desktop.
  2. Most likely yeah. It's not healthy for the computer to leave it on all the time, even if it is a desktop. You need to restart it, or it will clog up your files and it will run slowly.
  3. not a huge difference, but it will save on power so it will save on the bill.
  4. Only if $1 is a huge difference.
  5. unplug from the wall and yes
  6. just wait till ur bill comes up then compare --- DEPENDS ON THE POWER ur rig needs
  7. There will be a difference, but I doubt it will be that noticeable.
