How much money would we save if the welfare queens HAD to adhere to their guidelines about finding work?
It was supposed to be a temporary fix NOT a life choice.

- Ask Michelle that now....I'm paying taxes for her two kids to eat now!
- You do realize that the term "welfare" also includes the bank bailouts? I didn't realize those companies were run by queens. EDIT: Hey Becky, both Mrs Reagan and Mrs Bush confirmed in their memoirs that they received a food bill at the end of the month, so don't worry, you aren't paying for McNuggets and mac and cheese.
- the national Debt!
- Most states have a five year max on welfare. The majority of the fraud that I've seen is doctors charging for tests and visits that weren't made. Welfare doesn't really pay anywhere near enough to be a 'queen'. That's a very old canard. They can go to school, so they can find a job without being penalized, but they can't stay on it forever, not for the past thirteen years anyway.
- Wow ...Glad it was a woman that asked the question. Now it might stay up long enough to get an answer.
- Sad to say even if there was jobs available these *Queens* would not work My ex wife was taking welfare and I tried to get her interested in working for not only the sake of the kids but herself She told me "I don't do what I don't like to do" so she got married at least six times that I know about and ended up jobless and poor when the kids grew up~and they turned out just like their mother~always looking for something for nothing Yes~I know once these *ladies* get on the dole~they are hard pressed to want to work to even help themselves
- I know. Those corporate cheats always get all that money and then piss it away. We need to stop Corporate welfare in this country once and for all.
- They bare not part of the solution, they are part of the problem. They should be eliminated. They are the weak in our society and drag the rest of down.
- Oh maybe about .0000001% of the deficit if you could collect the money "welfare Queens" owe over the last decade. This is a red herring.
- That's true. Why don't we make abortions mandatory for all those who can't afford a child? That would fix the problem right? Then we could save a BUNCH of money! Yay!
- Are you sure you're talking about current events and not ancient history? Where are your stats that anybody is continuing to collect AFDC without seeking and finding work, as was mandated back in 1996? I'd be interested to see them.
- We understand, Shannon. We realize that it was supposed to be temporary but don't worry. We won't cut you off welfare. Just enjoy the afternoon with your pals at the trailer park and have a few beers to cut the edge off the meth.
- Obama overturned the welfare reform laws implemented by Clinton and a Rep congress. They were actually having a positive impact. We are back to welfare being a life choice.
- we'd save more if the black sows didn't have 70% of the future rapists, robbers, murderers and high school dropouts out of wedlock for me to feed, clothe and school, only to have them taught by jews to hate me and target white women.
