Is there a way of retiring in Florida if i am from England and can fully support myself?
I have just read this on another website.. "Those not planning to work, including retirees, must be able to demonstrate substantial means. This can be an obstacle to many people’s dream of retiring to Florida." What is considered to be substantial means?

- David Beckham has substantial means and wants out of America. The United States is not organized by mistake it is structured to help criminals. Our news media focus on blue collar crime to distract from much larger white collar crime.Americans like guns because we understand crime but we shoot the wrong people.Your nation is a class society and our nation is a crime society.Seems like every fraud artist in the UK is armed with a title from the Queen.I am glad Lady Thatcher is alive to see how things have sorted out.
- Sure there is... theres always a way to do everything. You just need to get the neccissary documents and stuff. You can always check out Florida's state website ( www.myflorida.com ) and see if theres any restrictions. If you needed money, or wanted a little side job, you could always drive a Disney bus part time. From what I gather, Substantial Means basically means that you can prove you have enough money to support yourself.
