retirement oz

If someone is retiring with 50 lakh rupees in hand, Can someone suggest a good way to invest ?

Minimum tax deduction and low risk should be the criterion. The person will need a monthly income out of this to sustain him and his family.

  1. just keep the money in hand...one cannot trust a stranger to look after your money these days...may be buy gold and keep it under mattress..cash in as and when required..
  2. HI Yes you can invest in retirement plan. I have a good retirement plan for you where you can get a monthly income from this and ur money remains same. you will get a bond paper from the co. there all these things are written.with no tax deduction.and the level of risk is ver low as this money is invested in govt. bonds and debt market. if you want more about this then mail me vkyaju@yahoo.co.in. or call me 09999766491 (Ajay).I will provide u full information about this ajay .
  3. only banks post offices and gold silver in physical form no jewellery, dont put all the eggs in one basket
  4. Deposit most of the amount in Nationalized Bank FD. (Preferably SBI). Deposit Rs.1 lakh per year in Tax saving Bank 5 years FD. Deposit some amount in Tax free RBI bonds. Keep about 25,000 in S.B. A/c for immediate use. If you need more money, you can obtain a loan from your bank deposit. If the post office deposits are giving more interest than bank FD, then deposit some amount in it. Now the post office deposit interest is not attractive. Do not deposit now. Away from the following: * Chit funds. * No loans to relatives and friends. * Do not buy shares. * Do not go for private bank deposits. If at all if you feel they are more attractive, then deposit less than 1 lakh deposit in each bank. (1 lakh deposit will be covered by insurance.) * Do not give surity to any one. * Do not deposit in Limited company deposits.
  5. In my opinion you Invest the Money in Monthly Income Scheme (MIS) with Post Office or FDR with Bank on monthly Interest Basis. These type Investment is safe and give monthly return to you.
