- try face painting. little kids love it!
- A makeup party... Maybe a bit early??? Your 4-year old should be a party pro by now , - especially if they attend daycare or preschool where they've learned to socialize and to share - at least a little! Lively and energetic, 4-year olds certainly know what a party is all about - and expect to have lots of fun. Keep them busy with age-appropriate activities, but not for too long, and not too structured or competitive. Ideal games to play include follow the leader, wherein kids can have fun burning off their extra energy following adult directions for skipping, hopping and jumping. Another good idea is non-competitive musical chairs - in which no one is eliminated - but the chairs are! An explosion of giggles usually results as kids are forced pile on top of one another as the chairs are taken away. Barbie, Dora the Explorer, sports, dinosaurs, or whatever holds the interest of your 4-year old prove to be good party themes. The party menu should only include favorite finger foods (think individual pizzas, chicken fingers) since all the party excitment usually cuts down on young appetites. - no makeup, I don't think too many other parents would be receptive to that. how about a tea party? you could have mini pb&j's
- most 4 year olds dont really appreciate make-up parties but they are all different I guess! I would suggest a party at home with all her mates you could get a bouncy castle and do face-painting! she would love that.

- Chucky cheezes or kitty land would be an amazing time for them. Im not too sure encouraging four year olds to wear make up is such a good idea...
- too young for makeup, how about a dress-up party? Buy some "big girl" clothees, (like for 7 or 8 year olds and get dresses and stuff, and get her and all her friends to dress-up! don't forget to buy high-heels, maybe you should also do a pinyata. ~Good Luck!~
- omg a make up party sounds awesome my daughter will be 4 in may and she would love that... go to a second hand store or a halloween shop and get some cheap dresses they can dress like princesses too so cute!
- A make-up party? At four? I'm sure some parents will not like that at all. Since you were thinking of a make-up party - I'm assuming it will be all little girls. How about a princess party? They can all wear crowns - for party hats - and the goody bags can be filled with fake jewels - and "sparkly" stuff. They could play a version of doggie doggie where's your bone. In doggie doggie - where's your bone - all the children sit in a circle and one child sits in the middle of the circle and pretends to be a sleeping doggie (hiding their eyes), While the doggie is not looking - the bone is given to a child in the circle. The children all say... Doggie doggie where's your bone somebody took it from your home Wake up doggie - go find your bone! and when the doggie wakes up - he/she asks each child in the circle "Do you have my bone?" - until one of them says yes. But instead it could be ... Princess Princess - where is your crown. Somebody took it - while you were lying down. Wake up princess go find your crown! There's lots of princess stuff in the party stores. I think it would go over MUCH better than a make-up party.
- u should use those coloring hats. i got them off ebay. the kids loved them they have different themes.
- I did a tutu party from this place www.serendipitybees.com it was amazing and everyone loved the take home tutus, a HUGE sucess.
- How about a ice cream parlor party.. come up with a basic sundae template design on paper and hand them out to the kids to draw what they think is the perfect sundae then surprise them with a table full of different ice creams and toppings for them to create the design in person.. take pics of them with the drawing and the ice cream at the end so they can remember how much fun it was! As a special touch why not hand them party favors to match the theme.. http://bellamevents.0.kateaspenshops.com/product/scoop-of-love-heartshaped-ice-cream-scoop.html/categoryid=82a424d4-232d-4134-b6bc-46444052d92b
