How is the US government getting into the health insurance business going to save anyone money?
That's the plan now for the government to compete against established health insurance providers. Can anyone say cluster fvck? http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/may/12/health-care-protesters-again-disrupt-senate-panel/ "It is called no profit. Which should be removed from that sector. Stockholders should not be allowed to profit from the sick and dying." Why would people own stock in companies that made no profit? Obama's plan counts on these companies staying in business.

- The government is going to turn one of the highest quality health care systems in the world, into a 3rd world health care system.
- As an uninsured citizen I welcome any type of health care. Btw, if you were uninsured you would no doubt have that view too.
- It is called no profit. Which should be removed from that sector. Stockholders should not be allowed to profit from the sick and dying. Edit: health care companies should not be allowed to sell stock. That means insurance, hospitals pharmaceuticals ETC. They should be limited to the cost of running the business. The owners would still make a nice profit, the employees would be paid well. So, why should prices be raised to get stockholders involved. health care is not a frigging luxury, so why price it like one? Why should you have to be wealthy to afford to take your kids to the Doctor?
- Mr. Obama and his associates would like to create a socialist health care system in our country. It is all part of the Elites plan to not only create a one world health care system, but a new world order. It's coming....and you will not have to wait long for it.
- It won't!
- I noticed last time I was in the hospital they charged 8.00 dollars for two tylenol. Reducing the overpriced costs we pay, is a good start. There is still plenty of room for profit, they have been screwing us for years. Not to mention we pay hundreds of dollars for health insurance a month, and then get denied services regularly.
- Rationing. Some get taken care of and some do NOT.
