is there a goverment grant for older members of staff who are willing to retire early to save younger colegues?
my company has asked for volentary redundancys and i hered from a family member that the goverment gave older members of his company £10000 to retire early to save younger members jobs is there any truth to this ? if yes where can i get info

- I don't think so. It is a nice thought though. Your best bet is to look hard and long at the deal on offer. Ask if it is negotiable. If so, ask for an improved lump sum or pension, or both if applicable. They can only say no.
