Any irony that John Madden Retires from broadcasting the same year Brett favre retires from football?

  1. They both will make a comeback...
  2. As good as they both were at one time ,The game has past them by!! One has zero to do with the other! I'm glad their gone!!
  3. Favre will be back. Favre also retired last year. Irony? I doubt it.
  4. I dont think the leagues losin much with Bret retiring, maybe if he had done it in his prime and went out on top it would be different, but Bret came back and stunk up the place which sadly is what he will be remembered for Maddens goin out on top of his game
  5. No it is all planned. I heard Brett is going to come out of the closet now and divorce his wife (who was just a paid cover) for him until his playing days were over. It was kind of nice that Madden is able to keep the big camper thing so he and Brett will have a place to call home in their retired life together.
  6. Madden knows football is not the same without the greatest player ever.
  7. This question is impossible to answer because Brett Favre will play for the Vikings next season. The man says that there is no way he would make another comeback then the next day he meets with Brad Childress and sends the Viks an x-ray of his injured throwing arm. Brett Favre will die playing football.
  8. John Madden's affection for Brett Favre is way beyond creepy
  9. You should have been here a month ago when the first 1000 people posted the same comment.
  10. they're the same person
  11. john Madden has so much money why would he want to continue to announce...I just hope he continues to create Madden 2010...etc.
  12. well seeing how favre will be back i dont think so and he also did the same thing last year
  13. I guess that is ironic. I think Favre will stay though, and Madden will get called in for the next Super Bowl or Pro Bowl just as a special thing. Madden won't be totally out of the picture.
