how would i save money with instruments for rock band?

i want to know how i can mix guitar hero world tour and rock band 2 instruments to save money, any help?

1. Travis, yes the instruments for world tour and Rock Band 2 are completely compatible. The RB controllers don't normally work with the older guitar hero games. I have both setups and they work either way. Good Luck
