  1. Tarkenton was his era's drama queen so, I think it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
  2. I don't think Fran Tarkenton should tell anyone when it's time to retire, but I am getting sick and tired of Favre changing his mind about retiring. Jeez Louise, Brett, make up your freakin mind !
  3. Only Deanna has the right to tell the Farve when to call it quits.
  4. If he wants to pay Favre's bills, OK, otherwise NO!
  5. Fran Tarkenton couldn't carry Favre's jockstrap! He has always been a bitter, pathetic, jealous little man.
  6. Where'd you get the right to question what Fran Tarkenton can say or not say?
  7. Fran is just saying what 90% of the people are thinking Brett was a good QB, that has played his yes/no/yes/no/yes/no too many years most of us are just sick of it
  8. at this point the paperboy has the right to tell Favre its time to retire , we are all tired of the he is / he isn't retired musical chairs , don't get me wrong the dude was a great QB in his time , but come on , this is how he wants to be remembered ?
  9. Only if Favre listens to him. I mean we All have an opinion about that, and so does Fran. That doesn't mean Favre should listen to it (Either Way)
  10. He didn't, He said he would root against him because he would be a trader to his Packers, Favre's not even a top ten QB, When you play more years than any other QB of course you'll build up stats, One title? Eli Manning is just as good in that case.
  11. No. Not only does Frank Tarkenton not have the right, but none of us as fans or any other NFL analyst have that right. I mean sure, Brett Favre coming back multiple times or even the hint of him coming back is enough to annoy any fan or analyst. But the truth is, it is Brett Favre's career. Not Tarkenton's, not anyone elses. He has the right to continue his career if he wants to. We as fans may suggest he retire, but if he doesn't then so what? Its his life. Let him live it, and play the game he wants to play. We nor does anyone else reserve that right. Especially if Tarkenton isn't out there on the field taking hits from defensive lineman. Let Tarkenton get out there at his old age and see how quickly he stays in the game. Favre should do what he wants, without anyone elses permission.
  12. he will never be good any more and he is also done
  13. Yes He does have the right to tell Brett when to retire.... Any football fan or layer has the right to tell him when to quit, i think i speak for everyone when I say were sick and tired of him retiring and unretiring. And wats up with that peter guy and his smartass remarks thats the 3rd answer ive seen, its really annoying.
  14. He has his own opinion, this is a free country. It's in the first amendment. I think his opinion doesn't matter to Favre that much. Though, I think when more than 80% of over 1,000,000 voters on ESPN tell him to retire, he should the message.
