Does your family use coupons??? How much do you generally save if you had to guess?

My mother always told me it was embarrassing to use coupons, because it makes you look poor and stupid. But I think on the other side, it makes you look smart and like you know how to save money. So I am seriously considering ignoring what I was taught and start becoming a coupon clippin momma. Is it worth it? Do you save a lot? or is it like.. you save a dollar

2. Its worth it i always use coupons it doesnt make you look poor your simply grabbing up a good deal. I live on my own im 20 and i always use coupons even if its only a dollar here and there or 50 cents here and there that adds up to a decent bit of savings.
3. Wow, I commend u for looking into using coupons, and yes it does save u money! Using coupons doesn't make u look poor or stupid!! What kind of mentality is that?? Sometimes we think that our parents R "always right" but at the same time we can actually teach them a few stuff even though they R our parents, yano? Again, much props on ignoring what u were taught! Sounds like u know a value of a dollar, which most young people don't even care about these days!
4. I ran the math a few years ago. Clipping coupons and shopping the good deals(double dipping coupons and getting the double coupon days) you can make a minimum of $10 per hour for your effort. Seasoned coupon clippers can make two or three times that.
