10. I just finished sending my thoughts on that situation to CBS. I feel that He and the CBS Executives owe the Palin's and the public an apology. It doesn't matter if he is a Liberal or a Conservative, the "jokes" were uncalled for and I find it rather curious that Mr. Letterman, as a parent, would have even considered telling them.

13. If CBS had any ethics they would fire David Letterman. If Sean Hannity or O'Reilly made similar remarks about Obama's daughters or called Michelle Obama a sl-t because of the way she dresses, you can be sure that it would that it would be front page news on the NY Times and the Washington Post calling for their firing. As scandalous as A-Rod has been with Maddona and others, he is no rapist of underage children. Letterman knows better than to invite A-Rod on his show lest A-Rod uses Dave's big mouth for tee-ball practice. If his joke were really aimed at Bristol being an unwed mother, Letterman is such a hypocrite. Letterman's own daughter was illegitimate for 5 years until he finally decided to wed the mother. Didn't Obama say that the children are off-limits? I guess Dave is hard of hearing.

Letterman did make another joke about it though. He told his audience: "Well folks, I guess this will be my last show". And the audience fell out laughing at that. You people will not be able to run Letterman off his show, just like other people couldn't get the very racist "Fox news" shut down. Wish on. And besides, Letterman never mentioned anything about "rape".The liars made that up..

I'll reiterate what I said to all the other propaganda attempts: Sarah Palin is attempting to make an "issue" out of David Letterman's joke about her promiscuous daughter (the older one)---the one who said, pregnant and unwed, during last year's campaign that "abstinence [for teens] is unrealistic", thus advocating and condoning consentual premarital sex among teens obviously because she was, in fact, pregnant... Palin was slighted by the Republicans at the fundraiser, and to make herself more prominent in the press, she decided to play "victim" in order to set up a possible "family values" platform for a future run for higher office. Her e-mail response was inarticulate at best, but then she is an "empty suit"---a vacuous, undereducated, shrill, and egomaniacal manipulator who is prostituting her own daughter in order to further her own political career---this the woman who could only name two countries who comprise NAFTA, who thought being "neighbors" with Russia and Canada gave her sufficient foreign policy experience to qualify to be either Vice President or, scary thought, "President" should McCain's melanoma prove fatal...A resounding YUCK! All she has succeeded in doing is make David Letterman's show more popular---I know I started watching it again...lol.

Why doesn't that disturb you instead of a comment that really wasn't said as it has been spread. I bet you didn't even hear what he said but are going along with gossip. It is coming back to all again.Watch Letterman is going to be more popular than ever. Even with Conan started new in the same time slot. I am tivoeing them both now.
