Which current baseball players could you see being announcers when they retire?
I think I asked this question a looooong time ago, so I'm recycling it. :) Have a good night, everyone!

- Nick Swisher (Color Guy).... Dustin Pedroia (Ball of Energy, oppinionated, alot like Rex Hudler and he's a good Game announcer).... Curtis Granderson (VERY Articulate and smart, he has had a few post season spots and done well, always adds sumthing)... Vernon Welles (Articulate, smart).. there are others, but thats enough
- Ken Griffey Jr. and Curtis Granderson
- I would say either Derek Jeter or Nick Swisher for the Yanks. Goodnight to you as well.
- I can see Ken Griffey Jr, Jamie Moyer maybe, Jimmy Rollins, Curtis Granderson
- Definatley Ken Griffey Jr.
- John Smoltz Tom Glavine
- brian roberts ( great guy, big ball of energy) dustin pedroia ryan howard derek jeter
- Jeff Supan. Hes intelligent and humorous.
- Michael Cuddyer Kevin Millar Brian Roberts Nick Swisher
- Most athletes who become announcers are not very good. Can we leave this profession to those who study and have good voices(Marv Alpert, Gary Cohen, Mel Allen, etc.). Have a good night!
- Eric Brynes
- I see AJ Pierzynski, Eric Byrnes, Derek Jeter, Jonathan Papelbon, and David Wright all up in the Booth Announcing Games in the future.
- I found this site online and it had alot of NFL jerseys shop for 44.88 all the number, player name, and the logo are all use sewn i have been trying to get for awile now is it real and is it a trust worthy site to buy from. www.jerseysnews.coom
- Derek Jeter Chipper Jones Ivan Rodriguez Nick Swisher Jason Varitek
- ken griffe and good night to you as well greta.
- Curtis Granderson is the one that comes to mind automatically, and you can't really doubt Nick Swisher. *Eric Byrnes is my honorable mention.
- Nick Swisher Sean Casey retired last year, but I think he will be an announcer. His nickname was the "mayor". Orlando Hudson. He loves everybody
- Nick Swisher, Brad Ausmus, Derek Jeter, Jason Varitek, Curtis Granderson, David Wright, Sean Casey (although he's already retired), Ivan Rodriguez
- I could see people like Ken Griffey Jr. One reason is he is one of the greatest all time and won't just retire from baseball completely. Also I could see Jeter, Kevin Millar (he loves talking too much, not too) and the 2 former Braves in Glavine and Smoltz. I also wouldn't mind to see Frank Thomas as one too. So my list would be Ken Griffey Jr. Jeter Millar Glavine Smoltz Thomas
- Do you mean announcer or analyst? Maybe A.J. Pierzynski. He's always running his mouth and has a warped sense of humor. He never met a microphone he didn't like, so he'd be a good fit.
- Ryan Howard...I'm not sure why, I just can.
- Griffey
- Jamie Moyer. Not only is he well spoken and know a lot about the game, he's a perfect fit. Just look at him. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/3932 At 46 it will be the perfect gig for him.
- I could see Nick Swisher, Jason Veritek, Derek Jeter, Mark Reynolds, Ryan Dempster or James Loney being good at it
- Brad Ausmus
- There are a few but John Smoltz would be great. He is a great interview and has excellent command of the English language. He is a future hall of famer as well which certainly won't hurt. If he decides to enter the media field as an announcer he will do well.
- Ken Griffey Jr. Eric Byrnes
