How to save my money?
Hey I am trying to save my money and I bet if I would I would have a bunch of money.My usual allowance is 20$ maybe every month or every other month.It is just so hard not spending money.I know I can do it but I just want so many things and it's killin me. Help and please be respectful.

- Make a list on a spread sheet of every thing you want. Don't be afraid to put on both large and small items. Everything from a new lipstick to a home, children, wedding, retirement, education, being in your sisters wedding, christmas gifts for others. Go wild thinking of every thing you could want. Then put a guess of a price next to it. Like 30K for a plush wedding, $10 for a lipstick and in the next column when you might like to reach that goal. A lipstick this year, college in 2 years a house in 10, children in 8 and wedding in 6. Then see what you will give up by making choices short term in your choices long term. Getting the lipstick might mean putting off the wedding, children and house another day or two so you can decide to skip something now or delay something later. If you keep delaying you may miss something entirely like if you can't afford a $30K wedding and really want to get married you might have to go to a judge and get married cheap. If you have the wedding you couldn't afford it might mean debt so you can't afford your house or you get the house and don't save for retirement. That may be enough to be afraid to buy the lipstick until you know you can meet your other goals.
