I want to start a boarding school overseas?
I would like to start a girl boarding school overseas, in Europe. What I am wondering is how much of an academic curriculum can I invent, and how much would be required by the state. How much of a say does the government have in what I wish to do with the school, as long as it fulfills the basic requirements of necessities of a school? It would be English speaking with french probably as a second language. Any idea where I could get an expense list of all the different things I would have to invest in in order for this to work?

- The state requirement would be determined by the country. Some are incredibly controlling (France) and some more relaxed. All require the end product to pass external exams so there is a limit to how creative you can be as your students will need to get into university.
