Military Retirement party ideas?
My husband is retiring after 26 years in the Army - any party, gift, etc... ideas? We are both 43 years old. He is a green beret.

- Well Im guessing you 2 are in your 40s? so if you do have a party do something that isnt to wild and crazy. Juat get all of his family and military buddies and friends together. Im sure it will be the one to remember, because all that matters is that he made it through 26 years of the most dangerous job in the world. And you are the one who went through it with him. - An album composed of pictures from day one in boots to the day he retired. per tenant papers and trails, letters etc. A curio table top table to put the album in with his medals,patches and memorabilia would be fitting. Just an idea.
- Right off the bat, I am going to get into trouble by assuming his unit will give him a retirement party and present his shadowbox. A party for his family to show their pride, a surprise photo that he had forgotten about blown up. On his day of retirement, no matter what is decided, just be there, beaming pride and love thru your eyes.
