retirement oz

I am retired in Mexico with an FM3. When leaving Mexico by land do I need to have it stamped at the border?

  1. Yes, they like to keep track of your comings and goings. The FM2 is taken more seriously and you are not to leave for more than 18 months in the five years of its duration I have heard so many stories from people not having it stamped and having no problem. It just makes it easier for La Migra to process you without any glitches when returning.
  2. I have an FM3 and when going thru the border crossing, I hold up my passport and visa for them to see and they just wave me through. No Problem.
