I need some help on planning a military medical retirement party for my hubby any ideas?
Yes he is tdrl for 5 years but he is still retiring, we consider him retired, just early because he is no longer fit for duty due to injuries from deployment. I asked him first he said a party would be nice. Family and Friends party, please keep answers clean, lol

- thing is do you THINK he really wants to celebrate this moment in his life?? If the reply is yes then you could make it some sort of theme along the lines of a fave hobby of his [now he will have more time to do it] EDIT well does he have a fave hobby, or is there something linked to his new path in life..............failing that you could do a complete "army navy whatever branch he is in" party, with all the silly stuff from the dollar store or party places........ OR you could make it a doctor / nurse thing which can be as TAME as you like [depending on ages of people coming etc] which might be fun, lots of red cross stuff to decorate, along with a few doctor things.............
- It they stick him on TDRL he is not really medically retired. He is on hold for 18 months.
