As an American have you the adventure spirit to retire abroad?
There are Americans retiring to such places as Belize, Mexico or Panama. People who retire to these countries can retire early as the cost of living is so low. I have retired abroad, learnt a language and totally integrated into a new way of life, but have any of you the courage to emigrate. America was founded by immigrants who had courage and adventure in their blood. Has anyone still that yearning to try and live a dream.

- I came to the US a long time ago and became a US citizen. Yes I plan to go back home again and retire. My country is France and I love it. Had to come back for some family matters. And Yes I am going back home. Oh I forgot, I did go back home for 10 years but as I said I had to come back for family matters. I would not go to any southern countries because I have nothing in common with.
- I know a few people that will retire and go and live in Spain. I however will not.
