Getting paid later today should I save the money for my move?

I am going to be on section 8. And I really want to get out on my own. But the only thing holding me back is that I am number 32 on the list and I only got 17.00 saved up. I should get over 100.00 today. I should start saving up.

2. If you want to get out of section 8 houses, it would be a good idea to save it and try to resist spending it unless you have to. The unless you have to is if your in a crunch for rent or light bill.
3. You will still need to pay your own security deposit and most places charge $35 application fees, so you had better start saving.
