Can we claim state pension from UK and USA if we paying the pension contribution for both?
My husband is british citizen, live and work here in USA since 1999. He still paying UK class 3 National Insurance contribution, he has been paying the contributions over 40 years.We decided to stay live here and becoming American citizen. Will he be able to claim pension benefit from both country when retired? since we also paying social security tax here in the United State?

- I can give only a partial answer. I worked for 22 years in the US, came to Australia, became a citizen here (single passport) and then worked 17 years here. Since retirement, I have been receiving partial age pension from both countries. Hope this helps. pogo_pogany
