Can I work as a temporary U.S. Government employee after I retire from the U.S. Government.?
I am eligible to retire from the Dept. of Defense after serving 37 years at 56 years of age. I would like to work for the National Park Service as a seasonal temporary employee. I want to stay below the $14,500 limit Social Security imposes on me for drawing a SS Supplement. Can I work for the NPS or do I need to find a job at Walmart instead?
