How many US "Baby Boomer" are expected to retire in Mexico in the next few years?

3. Probably fewer now that the Mexican organized crime elements are moving into expat cities like Acapulco. Sad.
4. The tough, independent thinkers with a sense of adventure, will be the most active Americans retiring in Mexico. The average person will be influenced by the negative press and campaign to keep US dollars inside America. Retirement numbers can increase by hitting a target market of independents. We do not know the total number of retired Americans in Mexico. I have read that over a million expats are in Mexico. In years past, Americans living outside the US were for the most part in Mexico. We shall see..................
