Why Are Doctors Retiring Early?
Someone told me once that medical doctors are retiring early in the U.S. due to the frustration of the very stern regulations & restrictions that the physicians have to abide by. Plus with the low reimbursements that the government & private insurance companies have to offer making it very difficult to stay afloat even in private practice & as a salaried doc in either GP or as a specialist! Is this true or false information?

- My doctor said its insurance companies like Aetna that refuse to pay claims that is making her go bankrupt. So not sure if everyone is retiring for the same reason. But i do know that the doctors and patients are getting screwed.
