Are social security retirement benefits considered child support?
the father is "retired", owns rental property, stock, property, family business and has his business incorporated, yet claims his only income is social security retirement. he pays zero in child support and i was told the social security benefits our child is getting will be all i get for child support. he will pay zero although he is still receiving income from other means.

- That would be up to the judge. My ex-husband's disability payments for the children are considered child support payment per the judge. She did stipulate that he is to supplement it with an extra $40.00
